Moroccanoil Hair Care & Advice - Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray

How do you choose the right hairspray when there are so many available on the market nowadays? It is hard to find the right kind of spray that is going to give the hair hold, not make it too hard and sticky and preferably last all night!

It mostly depends on what you want your hair to do, if you want big hair, then you will need a strong hold hair spray that is quite sticky and tough to help support the backcombing or if you were creating a beehive, than strong hairspray will give you the support.

If you want to tame a fringe or just simply make the hair look a bit less fluffy, than a light hold hairspray would be better to use and preferably one that can be brushed through easily as you may want to still be able to run your fingers through your hair.

As different hairsprays help create different styles a lot of the time in our salon, mostly with hair up work, we use more than one hairspray to create a style, for example; to put the hair up a strong hold hairspray would be required with some backcombing and keeping the hair in place, but if the customer wants a swept fringe left down at the front than a softer hair sprayed would be used to make the hair feel soft and moveable.

We have found that even though the Moroccanoil hairspray isn’t the strongest hairspray available it lets the hair breathe and still gives a natural-medium hold. With Argan Oil being a key ingredient it also offers a reflective shine and amazing smell. With other ingredients included the Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray will not leave any sticky residue on the hair, so the hair can be brushed through the next day without feeling tangled or rough. We have found that by spraying it on the hair after using a stronger spray, it gives a finished coat to the hair so it doesn’t look like it has any hairspray on.
