Moroccanoil Advice and Tips - Moroccanoil 100ml TreatmentMoroccanoil Hair Treatment 100ml Having been in the UK for over a year now, the Moroccanoil hair treatment has become a huge success. It can be used on any hair type and its main aim is to strengthen and restructure the hair whilst helping it to retain moisture. It is best used on hair that undergoes any form of chemical service e.g. colouring, bleaching, perming and chemical straightening. If you regularly straighten or tong your hair the Moroccanoil is highly recommended for you too. The main ingredient is Argan Oil, although it has been around for over 7000 years, it is only recently that is has been added into hair care and cosmetic products to help treat the skin, scalp and your hair. Originating from morocco and grown in a nut form this natural oil will help reduce frizz, mend split ends, add shine to the hair, keep colour looking vibrant and (one of our favourites), reduce the drying time of hair up to 40%. Thick coarse hair is hard to maintain and as it usually feels a bit rougher than normal hair it holds the water for longer so takes a while to dry. When applied the Moroccanoil will seal itself over the cuticle of each hair strand retaining the water inside, as oil and water always separate themselves from each other when mixed it therefore gets the hair to dry quicker, while the water is still in the hair feeling moisturised and hydrated. The hair is the last place in the body to get nutrients and with the added stresses that we cause it, it is important to use a leave in conditioner where the products are activated in the hair and work for longer. Cyclomethicone is another ingredient in Moroccanoil that help nutrients enter the hair shaft. For curly and Afro-Caribbean hair the Moroccanoil can be used as a treatment in the hair before the Moroccanoil Intense Curl Cream is applied for styling, as it works as a detangling product when dispersed into the hair after washing it will make the hair much easier to comb through. The best way to use the Moroccanoil is to firstly wash your hair with the Moisture Repair shampoo and conditioner, then once the hair is towel dried apply one to two pumps (depending on how much hair you have), into your hands and spread throughout the hair starting from the ends and working your way up to the mid-lengths, then comb your hair through to make sure it is evenly spread in the hair before then going on to use your other styling products. As the Moroccanoil is so lightweight you will not feel it in the hair so cocktailing other products with it will not make the hair feel too heavy. In our experience, during the last 18 months in our salon we have tried and tested the Moroccanoil on over 30,000 customers and found it has improved the condition of the hair and scalp for all of them, especially the people that suffer from dandruff, dryness and itchiness. Argan Oil is also used in all of Liz Earle’s skin care range. |
